I have taken other Praxis tests and this book is unlike the other ones I have used to study with (and passed by a wide margin). It does not even address the breakdown of the test. I have not taken the corresponding test using this book, but I already know it was a waste of money and time looking through it.4 of 15 people found the following review helpful.Not worth the purchaseBy MandyJThe only part of this book that is worth reading before the exam is the review of authors. However, I'm not sure this was entirely necessary after taking the exam. Of course, it helps to know the time period and genre in which each author was writing, but this study guide, by far, is not representative of the exam. The sample test in the back is not even close to the actual exam. The only time I encountered questions that pertained to actual classroom examples was in one of the two essay questions.
