It was draining us. This book was great at explaining the different schools of thought for handling bedtime ( cry it out or just always get up) and the pros and cons to both. Instead of giving a "one scenerio fits all" for how to get your child to sleep it gives you lots of different recommmendations so you can pick and chose things to try. For our family this was great because our son was not responsive to some of them. I will say that the one down side of the book was that we were already following most of what the book said to do as far as making a night time schedule, and there was no comments about what to do if you are following the schedule and it is still not working. We ended up just shortening the time span between night time ques and he started to go to bed earlier. Very comprehensive on all the approaches, not judgemental when explaining any of them and helpful in figuring out was is good for you.See all 1 customer reviews...
